What would your job be like at Scilife?

As a Senior Golang Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems and services using the Go programming language (Golang). Here's an overview of what your job entails:

Your responsibilities:

• • Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable services using Golang
  • Collaborate with our product team and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to software development principles
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues
  • Work with the testing team to develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and manage applications in production environments
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to Go programming and software engineering in general
    
    
    

What you will need:

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in backend development using Golang
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • A solid understanding of REST API concepts
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
