What would your job be like at Scilife?
The VP of Finance will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This includes tracking cash flow, financial planning, analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions. The VP of Finance will ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
Your responsibilities:
-
- Expertise and proven leadership skills gained through a track record of operational and financial excellence in software or SaaS technology companies.
- Strong prior operational finance experience, preferably within both a start-up and at scale. Prior hands-on responsibility and accountability for the Legal, IT, G&A functions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and implementing processes and controls in the finance functions to ensure highly-reliable, predictable outcomes.
- Strategic focus and ability to evaluate and enhance the current business model and metrics that measure the company’s performance. Should lead with a deep experience in FP&A versus accounting.
- Experience raising and structuring deals across multiple forms of capital including, but not limited to, debt and equity.
- Experience with cross-border transactions as well as setting up international company locations.
- Team player and motivator with proven experience hiring, mentoring, motivating, and leading high-performance teams.
- Highly credible within the technology industry. Strong credentials within the capital markets industry, including venture capitalists, analysts, bankers, regulators, accountants, auditors, and other relevant partners. Proven ability to instill confidence with these constituencies.

This individual should not be afraid to constructively challenge their peers on the executive team and have a proven ability to contribute to the overall business strategy and direction independent of functional expertise.
- Outstanding leadership and people management skills with the ability to successfully attract, motivate, and challenge a team of talented and creative people at all levels of the organization.
